Several of us at Moxley Carmichael decided to make some predictions for 2010. These are random at best and a bit eccentric. In other words, there’s something for everyone!

Mobile design
Designing for mobile devices will play a larger part in online design. Up until now it has been the top tier Web sites that are formatted for mobile devices. We’ll see this climb the Web-development priority ladder as mobile browsing increases and the technology to auto-format Web sites for mobile devices becomes more common.
Print budgets
Printing budgets will open back up. How much is yet to be determined and with the increased success of online marketing it might not be much.
Colors
According to Pantone, the three top colors for Spring 2010 are aurora yellow, tomato puree, and eucalyptus green. Here are descriptions:
- Tomato puree is a “classic red that can be paired with turquoise, another Pantone hot hue, for a retro look.”
- Eucalyptus is described simply as “cool and classic.”
- Aurora is “a yellow tinted with green that gives off a burst of energy.”
What do you think we should watch for in 2010?
