Over 400 million users.
Over 100 million in the United States.
Over half of all users visit the site daily.
Number one in search traffic.
Previously that last statistic did not apply to Facebook. In March 2010 that changed as Facebook beat Google by .04%. Four one-hundredths? Why are we talking about four one-hundredths?
The answer lies in the graph of traffic over the past 12 months. As you can see below the Facebook growth is dramatic. So dramatic that this won’t be a contest by the third quarter of 2010 in my opinion.
OK, so what does it mean? It means you should be a part of #1. If you don’t have a presence on Facebook, the world is not stopping while you make up your mind. You’re another .04% behind the leaders.
