I’m Gavin Baker and I’ve recently joined Moxley Carmichael as director of digital media. I was previously with Ruby Tuesday Inc. at the corporate headquarters as part of the interactive marketing team, focused on using social and emerging media to connect with customers. While I’ve been in Knoxville for a few years, I’m originally from St. Louis, Mo., and spent my college years in Pennsylvania.

I’ve been using technology to communicate before I could drive and find it fascinating how quickly technology trends can move from bleeding edge to mainstream. I’m a firm believer that we can use technology to help people and organizations connect to each other and provide real value to all involved. We’ve only just started down the path of digital communications and it already affects almost all organizations and people.
